A cement mill (or finish mill in North American usage) is the equipment used to grind the hard, nodular clinker from the cement kiln into the fine grey powder that is cement. Most cement is currently ground in ball mills and also vertical roller mills which are more effective than ball mills.
The Old Mill Foundation was founded by Didion in 2006 to give back to the Cambria-Friesland community through support of local nonprofit organizations that work to enhance the lives of the Village of Cambria, Township of Courtland and the Cambria-Friesland School District.
The Ball Foundation supports programs that increase metal packaging recycling rates, improve collection processes and provide education about the benefits of recycling. As an example, the foundation supports The Recycling Partnership, reaching 1.2 million U.S. households to increase recovery of recyclable materials at the curb.
